Cornell & Diehl - Oak Alley 2oz
One of my top blends
Just tried this for the first time recently and its a great blend. I know this says cellar series because of the Burley and the cake form but its good right out of the tin. For me this was Burley forward with the Orientals and red Virginias in the background. It reminds me a little of Eight state Burley without the topping on ESB. Considering rubbing out the cake to speed up the aging process but it is already a good blend.

Good CRF replacement while awaiting next arrival
This is a good blend that will probably be really good maybe even just as good as CRF after its aged a couple of years. Nice sweetness with some bready malty notes. Lower in the bowl I get some noticeable cedar notes. I gave it a 4 only because its a little young and need some aging so its not as harsh.

Great everyday smoke no nonsense blend.
Took me a while to finally try this blend since I've always heard that it tastes like a cigarette. For me that was definitely not the case. It was a mildly sweet start to the bowl that builds in earthy/nutty flavors, also notice a pretty good peppercorn in the nose which I love. My only knock on this blend is that the last bit of the bowl can be a little ashy tasting but maybe that's just me. This is a blend I need to start cellaring deep. Nic hit for some is probably pretty strong but fortunately nicotine doesn't really effect me much so I can smoke 2-3 bowls in a row of this.

Cornell & Diehl - Sansepolcro 2oz
Great blend
I bought the 2024 release of this which is essentially the same blend as the 2025. It instantly just hit the spot and continues to be my go to blend after many months of smoking the 2024 to now. Didn't notice much if any difference in the new release. Virginias are forward with this blend that offer a nice sweet bread note. The Italian dark fire is pretty subtle but grows in intensity the further you get down the bowl. Cavendish tends to bite me but this does not. Maybe because its unsweetened? Overall its a great smoke and really hope they release this every year cause I will be an annual buyer. I do rub it out and let dry for about 5-10 min. Pairs great with a coffee with a little bit of cream or your favorite bourbon.
