Mac Baren - HH Old Dark Fired Ready Rubbed
This bulk version is way off.
So the ODF bulk is no where near as good as the flake, but the bag i got here is even further off. It doesn't smell right at all. I smelled the batch of bulk from P&C vs this one and its not even comparable. Something is way off with this batch. Super disappointing.

Not a nicotine bomb, or a ritual tobacco, or a pesticide. It's very similar to Old Dark Fired in appearance, smell, taste, smokability, moisture, and the way it breaks up. Ignore all the hype about the Nicotine content and how unbelievably strong it is, thats false. Its a carefully blended tobacco and is perfectly smokable like all the rest in the HH line. If you've never inhaled anything before it might be strong, otherwise its perfectly normal. That being said its very good!

Peterson - Irish Whiskey 50g
It took me a little while to get it.
The tin note was (is) butterscotch. So is the taste for the topping. I did not like this blend until my 3rd bowl. It has more bite than I'm used to and a bit of a dry mouth feeling but nothing unmanagable. This blend taught me how to smoke slow. I mixed it with Orlick Golden Slice to smooth it out and its amazing. I dont want to smoke it without that mix now

A genuinely great tobacco.
I can't believe how good this blend is. I don't taste the virginias at all but It is "deeply satisfying", truly. I smoked a bowl of this for 50 minutes without relighting. I was ripping clouds and sipping, it didn't matter. It was the 12th pipe I'd ever smoked. I've only been smoking a pipe for 3 weeks and I feel like I picked one of the best so I came here to order more.

Not for me.
This tobacco smells and tastes like baseball card bubblegum. It has no heat bite but it has a lot of sting, like mild needles in the roof of my mouth and in my nasal area. I guess it's not for me. I wanted it to be my back up.
