Unusual characteristics for such a baby!
As I opened the box, I immediately put the pipe away: it was clear for me that being clay in such a small size, it will smoke very hot. After a couple of years I decided to give it a try—it immediately became my to-go travelling pipe replacing much more expensive briars and meerschaums. It smokes very cool and doesn't colour my favourite Viriginias with darker tones—as opposed to briar. I can now understand why these pipes were everywhere. Highly recommended: it doesn't look like much, but it certainly delivers a wonderful smoke
