Disappointing.
Wire is too weak and bendy -- can't even get started cleaning. Also, too much cottons fluffing around.

Almost feels like brownie cakes
Very, very, very strong sweet chocolate/vanilla-ish flavor as the name implies, and very (five times) moist leaves. I like the sweetness but the wetness feels like little bit too much for me? I don't know, I'm a beginner with gallons of saliva and getting quite too much juice with this. But overall it's good! Especially, it's pleasant, has no excessive spiciness and very hard to get tungbit.

First impression was really good, but I made a mistake when storing it and what I eventually smoked was a bulk of tasteless tobacco... I'm sorry Lane Ltd., I'll try this again with a more decent container later.

Sweet, sweet!
Very sweet taste/flavor and not-too-much strength. Needless to mention the long lasting maple syrup scent! As a beginner in pipes and a lover of aromatic tobacco, this was a decent and delightful choice to get deep into the world of tobacco.

In South Korea where pipe is not that prosprous, Orlik Golden Sliced is even less popular than its reputation suggests. I don't think people in my country appreciate plain, clean tobaccos as much because most of us enjoy artificially flavored cigarettes (allegedly people consider plain Virgina tobaccos as being 'old-fashioned'). But having only smoked two types of tobacco in my life including this one, I can see why they say this is a classic and the quintessential Virginia. It made me an addict in no time! Good for beginners
First ever tobacco in my life, and I don't regret choosing this (is it a good thing though? I'm feeling my life expectancy is rapidly reduced by this, hahaha) -- nicely cut, easy to burn, and tastes spicy while being not too strong! Maybe decent smokers would think of this being too blend, but for me this an attractive first impression of smoking. Fresh start!
