Dry
Taste of dry hay, autumn leafs, perique definitely noticable but has a mild sunny citrus-esk sweetness to balance it. Tobacco was dry and crunchy when opening the tin. Something I would imagine old Macdonald to have in his pipe. Not bad at all, scratches that itch I have time to time for a more "manly," smoke.

Standard but not boring. Savory and a lil spice, can't really complain about it. I actually enjoy it more than nightcap, just satisfyingly basic.

Coming from cigars, it is pretty good and quickly became my everyday.
Orlik - Golden Sliced 50g
Tea, earl grey, hot.
A honey-lemon sweetness is the first thing I taste but it then shifts into a bergamot with the perique (I believe) tasting like a smokey, peppered, black tea which really makes me think of drinking a spiced up earl grey tea. Something I enjoy smoking when I have no particular mood for anything.

Maybe my pallet ain't sophisticated enough
All I taste is old leather and dawn dish soap. Tried it in a corn cob just to get the same off putting soap taste and just tossed it in the trash.
