Cleaners & Cleaning Supplies - Deniclean Stem Cleaner
Effective, but so is water
Dip a pipe cleaner in this solution and run it through the stem. It cleans out tars, etc. Then dip a pipe cleaner in any of your alcohol based solutions and run it through the stem and see the impurities that this has cleaned out. In other words, the DeniClean step was totally unnecessary and a waste of time and money. Yes, it will clean your stem, but so will water, and about equally well.

Size Matters
This device measures 3mm—I checked it with a micrometer. However, of the more than 100 pipes I own, not a single one has an airway that is 3mm or greater. In short, it won’t fit a single one of my pipes, and I seriously doubt that any pipe has an airway that will accommodate it.
