Cornell & Diehl - Palmetto Balkan 8oz

Verison. 2026 Flavor Notes: Smoky, Deep Smoke, Woodsy, Woodsy Bourbon, Fruity, Tart, Cherry, Caramel The latika note is unlike I have ever had. Its definitely special alight. Such smoky deliciousness. The Virginias are bright and complex. English definitely but.. With Virginias this quality it is almost a hybrid between English blend and a Virginia blend. Mr. Reeves thats a 10/10

Seattle Pipe Club - Hogshead 2oz

I used a pipe that is a Virginia and hogshead only dedicated pipe. The tin and unsmoked aromas are pretty damn close with the C&D hogshead slightly more raisiny. Original has a more berry note smell to it. The appearances are really close though the original hogshead has a somewhat more stringy and waxy texture and hold together just a little better. I wanna say that before this next part that I am extremely grateful that C&D made this again and continues to keep this wonderful hobby alive. I am really happy they did this and I will hopefully be able to purchase more of this in the future. This is so damn close but…. Theres a slight C&D note to it that I can’t shake. That note is not in the original. I smoke a lot of different C&D blends and I love their tobaccos but have a certain note to them. I don’t explain it as a harsh note of have seen some people explain it as. I think its just the profile of some of the Virginia tobaccos C&D use. I will also say it does not bite like original does. I tend to smoke hogshead a bit hot. Sometimes the original would bite so quick. If I was to have this on its own I would say damn what a delicious blend. Its damn good and like 99% close to the original. The after the taste is slightly different but all still delicious. Would I add this new version to my beloved pieces of the original I have left. No but its Still 10/10.

BriarWorks - Smokehouse 2oz

This blend is something almost mystical. It’s definitely a hybrid of VA and English. It’s somewhere in the middle. Smoky meaty bold savory and salty. The smoke is thick and chewy in the best way. Nice warming nicotine level. Burns perfectly out of the jar. Which might I add I love its jarred already. Burns down to dense grey and white ash. If you are looking for something that is unique and delicious this is it. Now we have to wait for it to be restocked.

G. L. Pease - Gaslight 8oz

This blend should be in everyone’s rotation. Thick chewy dense complex smoke. Burns cool. Incredible notes on a retrohale. 10/10

Nørding - Pointer 2oz
Wonderful
Starting with wonderful notes of hay with a slightly bready back note. When sipped a delicious slightly tangy fruity note. Tastes like a very quality tobacco. This may age to be amazing. Definitely a sipper.

HU - Khartoum 100g
Impressed
Delicious, stout, silky and savory. I’ve found all of the HU blends to be excellent so far. HU really excels at seni-English blends though. Definitely a memorable English blend but there’s also something more there. Something I will take time to figure out. 5/5
