Cornell & Diehl - Fires on the Levee 2oz
getting bored
I greatly prefer the Sun Bear series because it has a slightly sweeter profile. This is just another of the many overtly savory small batch blends and they seem to run together even when you use higher sugar VAs. It's well balance and an any easy any time of day smoke. It will serve it's niche and worthy, accordingly. No complaints but no longer what I'm looking for.

Nice Summer smoke
Having this in a Jorn that likes Blondes. Light and very well balanced. Just a smidgeon of sweetness, similar to Luxury Navy flake sans the Perique. Will, like the Port Guard, age nicely. A second winner from this line

side by side
Just finished side by side bowls of the brand new Port Guardian and 2020 Small Batch Red Virginia. Preferred the Port Guardian. Enjoyed both but the SB was more angular, even at five years old. The slightly sweet top note of PG rounds it and makes it more enjoyable to me.

Thankfully there is a fair amount of Va in this. Not a hammer the palate KY. A tad bighty but age should make this even better.
