Lisa Mogel

Lisa spent seventeen years running the parts of Laudisi that make everything else possible. She joined in something of a second career, starting on the floor of Low Country Pipe & Cigar before stepping into the Office Manager role in 2009 — the year the company lost its bookkeeper and gained, without quite realizing it yet, the person who'd eventually run its entire back office. From there she became our Chief Administrative Officer, overseeing accounting, administration, and HR, and watched the company grow from under twenty employees to more than two hundred along the way. Payroll, facilities, compliance, the ledger itself — for most of that growth, Lisa was the reason none of it ever became anyone else's emergency.

Long ago, she’d decided she wanted to retire in 2026, a step she took in April, 2026, after a year of careful preparation.

And while we knew she would continue to have a relationship with the company past retirement, we didn’t quite know what it would be. And we made it all of three weeks. Then, just when she thought she was out, we pulled her back in to advise on a project. She's back now as Board Member & Senior Advisor, continuing to serve in her old corporate governance role, as well as advising (albeit less frequently) the rest of Laudisi’s senior leadership team.

She also remains, by acclamation, the company's foremost expert on Disney World trip planning logistics.
